Middle Eastern desert
Jo goes in search of her old boyfriend who is reported dead in a plane crash in a Middle Eastern desert on NBC Universal's "AIRWOLF II" episode entitled "The Golden One." The story was written by Ray Hoagan and directed by George Erschbamer.

When Jo's old boyfriend is reported to have crashed in a Middle Eastern desert, she refuses to believe he is dead and stubbornly insists on going to look for him. The rest of the Airwolf team cannot let her go alone - and the four find themselves caught in a web of intrigue, blocked at every move, threatened by a mysterious, all-powerful adversary. When finally they find Jo's friend, alive, he turns out to have engineered his own disappearance, to make a criminal plot and promptly makes Jo a prisoner. It takes Airwolf, battling against overwhelming odds, to extricate Jo from the clutches of her former sweetheart.
