When the United States and Russia place observers on a train carrying lethal gas to be destroyed, the Airwolf team responds after misguided military officers attempt to sabotage the plan on NBC Universal's "AIRWOLF II" episode entitled "Deathtrain." The story was written by Steven McDonald and Elizabeth Tully and directed by Patrick Corbett.

Under the new arms limitation pact, the United States agrees to dump stockpiles of nerve gas - and the Airwolf team is assigned to supervise the operation. But a super-patriotic colonel, convinced that the U.S. is playing into Soviet hands by destroying a vital deterrent, launches an ingenious operation to hijack the "Deathtrain" - with Locke and a KGB observer still on board the train.
