For Stringfellow Hawke, the reunion with his long-lost brother brings a chapter of his life to an end, but for St. John Hawke a wild adventure is about to begin in the premiere episode of NBC Universal's "AIRWOLF II" entitled "Blackjack." The episode was written by Michael Mercer and Jana Veverka and directed by Alan Simmonds.
A cryptic clue promises to reunite Stringfellow Hawke with his M.I.A. (Missing In Action) brother, St. John, but the cost is dear.
A fiery explosion takes the life of Dominic Santini, and leaves Stringfellow in the hospital close to death.
Airwolf can rescue St. John, but only Stringfellow knows where it is hidden.
The time has come for the secret to be shared.
Jo Santini is a young woman true to her heritage: attractive, fiery and as hard-headed as any problem she comes up against.
In spite of this, the murder of her beloved Uncle Dom and the trauma inflicted on her childhood friend, Stringfellow, leaves her vulnerable and con-fused.
She meets Jason Locke, the smooth and engaging "Company" agent who enlists her aid to help him solve the mystery of the attack and find Airwolf.
Locke calls the quick-witted Major Mike Rivers into the picture. Major Rivers is a rebel, who knows how to make the system work for him. Together, they recover Airwolf, and use the copter to rescue St. John from the hands of the mercenary, 'Blackjack' in the Far East.
They discover as they go the awesome power that has been entrusted to them. At last, St. John and Stringfellow are reunited, but only long enough to say good-bye.
The mighty Airwolf has been bequeathed to the new team: St. John, Mike, Locke and Jo. With it comes the responsibility of seeing that the copter's remarkable abilities are dispensed for the good of us all
