Hawke helps his nephew Le Van search for his missing Aunt on NBC Universal’s "AIRWOLF" episode entitled "Birds Of Paradise." The story was scripted by Robert George and directed by B. Kowalski.

Hawke's nephew, Le Van, asks for help when Aunt Minh disappears. Hawke tracks her to Nick's Paradise, an exclusive club where she had an argument with the owner, Nick Kincaid over her sister, who very possibly was St. John's wife. Archangel warns Hawke that Kincaid owns a heavily armed helicopter and is into drug smuggling. Hawke takes a job as a pilot for Nick transporting drugs; but Isela, Kincaid's right hand lady, warns Nick about Hawke's interest in Minh. To gain Kincaid's trust, Hawke agrees to fly Airwolf on a drug run. Hawke arrives to find Nick and Isela have Le Van as hostage in exchange for Airwolf. Nick finally admits he murdered Minh which angers Le Van, who karate kicks his way to freedom. Archangel, Dominic and Caitlin arrive and disarm Kincaid's bodyguards. Hawke takes off after Kincaid in Airwolf and they fight until Kincaid's chopper is blown out of the sky. Hawke returns and asks Le Van to live with him.
