ADVERTISEMENTS
Hawke and a group of paraplegics on a nature climb are hunted by a tracker who protects wild cats on NBC Universal’s "AIRWOLF" episode entitled "Tracks." The episode was written by Rick Kelbaugh and directed by R. Stein.

Hawke joins his friend Kirk, on a climb up San Jacinto Peak with POINT, Paraplegics On Independent Nature Trips. Caitlin and Dominic agree to pick them up by helicopter when they reach the top of the mountain. On the trail the men, Kirk, Foran, Cruz and Levitt courageously struggle, sometimes leaving their wheel chairs to crawl over obstacles. Hawke and Sergeant. Callahan watch in admiration as they encourage each other and pass insurmountable odds. Unfortunately, they are hunted by the "cat man," Paul McClellan. He was a professor/scientist who now lives in the mountains to protect the wild cats. Feeling threatened he shoots an arrow and kills Sergeant Callahan. The men head back down the hill, and Hawke is wounded in the shoulder with an arrow, causing him to fall and break his leg. At base camp, Caitlin and Dominic realize the group is overdue and when they are unable to find the men, they get Airwolf. As Hawke lures the "cat man" away from the group, Airwolf appears and chases him into the arms of the angry men. The group returns feeling elated with having conquered the obstacles, as well as their fears.
