Hawke sets out to settle an old debt when John Bradford Horn is after a woman who knows the location of Airwolf and the Lair in NBC Universal’s "AIRWOLF" episode entitled "Discovery." The segment was written by Stephen A. Miller and Del Reisman and directed by Alan Cooke.
John Bradford Horn's helper carries out the mission he has been charged with only half-way: Quist is to eliminate a man named Tom Billings and his girlfriend, Grace Harrison. During the struggle, Grace breaks free and is able to flee after she is wounded. Tom Billings is killed. As she wanders looking for help, Grace walks right into the Lair and sees Airwolf in its secret hiding place. Dominic and Caitlin see to it that she gets medical help, and they realize that Horn is following their footsteps, wanting to get to Grace. His interest in getting rid of her shifts, however, when he sees his chance of using her to get to Airwolf. And So he does, making it almost out of a pier at San Pedro. Hawke and Dominic's swift action prevents the heist at the very last minute, leaving behind a semi-frustrated Hawke, who watches his enemy slip away again, but pleased to have recovered Airwolf.
