Hawke, Dominic and Caitlin go undercover as stunt people in an old Western town to recover a stolen laser weapon in NBC Universal’s "AIRWOLF" episode entitled "Annie Oakley." The episode was written by Carleton Eastlake, Rick Kelbaugh and Harold Stone and was directed by Dan Haller.
The Firm receives an anonymous telephone call from a man who offers the name of the individual responsible for the heist of the Mongoose, an ultra-modern laser weapon. Unhappy with the end of his deal, Slade, who was involved in the operation of intercepting the transport of the weapon and the killing of two guards, had not been told by Karl of its enormous value. Frustration and greed prompt him to call the authorities. The payoff price he sets is one million dollars, which the Firm is willing to come up with, and the transaction is to take place in an old Western town called Old Silver City. As undercover stunt men, Hawke, Dominic and Caitlin meet Annie Oakley, the finest pistol shot in the world, who is involved in the scam along with everyone else.
