Hawke and the original super-chopper are in great danger when a second version of Airwolf flies the skies in NBC Universal’s "AIRWOLF" episode entitled "Airwolf II." The story was written by Louie Elias and the teleplay by Al Martinez, and it was directed by Don Medford.
A possible duel looms on the horizon as a second version of the super-chopper takes to the skies, and apparently has superior capabilities as an aerial super-weapon.
It is Michael Archangel's protectiveness toward Hawke that gets him and Hawke fired by The Firm, not without revealing the real reason behind it.
They feel they no longer have a need for either one of them since the creation of their own, new, Airwolf II.
However, the new pilot, ego-maniacal Harlan (Tex) Jenkins, does not waste much time before he steals Airwolf II and wants to sell it to Latin American revolutionaries.
And before he does the actual delivery, he hopes to settle a long-standing grudge against Hawke by having a duel in the sky.
