Stringfellow Hawke is working on a visual stunt-flying assignment for a country music star manager who proves murderous at the prospect of losing his percentage in NBC Universal’s "AIRWOLF" episode entitled "Out Of The Sky." This segment was written by Gregory Harris and Charles Winston and was directed by Bruce Seth Green.
Hawke takes on a visual stunt-flying assignment for a man called Nick DeSoto, who is a concert promoter and also the manager of Roxanne Marvel, a country music super star.
Roxanne tells Hawke that she is determined to retire.
She is completely burned out as a result of the hectic pace of her life.
When DeSoto, her manager, finds out about her plans, he reacts with a great deal of resentment that could easily intensify to the point of murder, which it finally does.
DeSoto is a habitually losing gambler, and two enforcers are after him to collect an enormous amount of money -- to be exact $100,000 -- which he owes them in gambling debts.
Roxanne's income and his percentage thereof is his way out of trouble, and he becomes desperate at the prospect of losing it.
