ADVERTISEMENTS
Airwolf with Hawke and Dominic on board volunteer for a rescue mission after they learn that Caitlin is a passenger on the missing plane on NBC Universal’s "AIRWOLF" episode "Flight #093 is Missing." The episode was written by Chester Krumholz and Calvin Clements, Jr. and directed by Bernie Kowalski.

Hawke, Dominic and Airwolf have just completed a special survey off the coast of Baja. They have been bounced around and battered by hurricane Kim's winds of 100 knots. Now they are on the way back to the Santini Air location to take Caitlin to the airport so she can catch a flight bound for Texas. She doesn't really want-to leave her job but feels obligated to attend her sister's wedding. Not long after takeoff, four tough-looking men with scuba diving equipment force their way into the pilot's compartment and force the crew to descend and change course. The passengers are not aware of the hijacking in progress until the plane touches down hard on the water. The 747 sinks below the surface and settles on the bottom with 156 passengers on board. Flight #093 is reported missing and a search operation is underway, but is called off because of extremely bad weather conditions. When Hawke and Dominic learn that Caitlin is on the missing plane, they set out on their own rescue mission. After several unsuccessful flights over the area, they locate the downed plane, are able to repulse attacks from a vintage torpedo boat that is also searching for something in that location. Airwolf is finally able to fire some well-placed rounds at the torpedo boat and explodes it. Just in time, the rescue fleet arrives and saves all souls aboard the plane. Caitlin is safe, but she missed her sister's wedding!
