When an incredible piece of machinery, the HX1, seems to have been the cause of extensive damage at an aircraft corporation, Hawke has reason to believe that his brother -- whom he thought dead -- was part of the operation in NBC Universal’s "AIRWOLF" episode entitled "HX1." It was written by Steve Hayes and directed by Gerald Mayer.
Considerable damage was done when there was a raid at the Dasco Aircraft Corporation. Hawke has reason to believe that his brother Saint John Hawke was one of the assailants.
This thought is very disturbing to him because Saint John is dead, or so he thought.
He remembers and relives war times, how his brother and his companions were trying to get out of Vietnam in time and how those agonizing last days were.
Hawke knows that the only one who could possibly have been flying the HX1 chopper was his brother, and realizes that Saint John might have gone undercover and now is a mercenary along with the others, who are also believed dead.
In talking to Ellie, Saint John's old girlfriend, Hawke uncovers many facts that help him further in his investigation.
He approaches Dunkirk, follows him at night to an apparently abandoned hangar and walks in on a meeting which also includes Mace, his brother's best friend, who is very much alive.
A sales demonstration is being planned. The HX1 might be sold to a very questionable client. Hawke is definitely not a welcome sight to the men, and when he awakens, he is in the middle of the desert, where he had been taken while unconscious.
With enormous effort he gets to a phone and reaches Dominic. Airwolf's capabilities along with Hawke and Dominic's control turn the demonstration of HX1 into a dangerous adventure with an unexpected denouement.
