Before Hawke and Dominic start out on a mission with Airwolf for Uncle Sam, they take a slight detour to the Virgin Islands so Dominic can attend the funeral of his daughter on NBC Universal's "AIRWOLF" episode entitled "Sins Of The Past." The segment was directed by Don Baer and written by Taenha Goodrich and Jake West.

Dominic left the island when he and his wife Lylah separated a long time ago. He saw his daughter, Sally Anne, the last time when she was seven. Now in her mid-twenties -- found at the beach -- she died from an overdose of drugs. At the funeral, Lylah creates a scene verbally attacking Dominic whose anger comes to the surface enough to almost strike his ex-wife. Hawke intercedes and soon after the funeral they leave to complete their mission in Airwolf. Upon their return, Dominic is arrested and put in jail for the murder of Lylah Santini. Since the government mission is top secret, Archangel cannot and will not supply Dominic with an alibi. Hawke is compelled to fly back to the island to look for clues. A lot of islanders are not happy with the new prosperity that the gambling casino brought to the island. The most important clue that Hawke comes across is Lylah's ties to Darius, the owner of the casino. He has been skimming money from the casino's winnings, and Lylah has blackmailed him. Hawke and Airwolf appear over the casino just as a big celebration is taking place. Hawke forces Darius out of the casino, and with great pleasure Captain Babbitt puts the handcuffs on him. Darius is under suspicion of murdering Lylah. Almost as an afterthought, Hawke attacks the symbol of all the evil that has come to the island. With a few well-placed salvos from Airwolf, the casino erupts in a vast fireball.
