Hawke and Dominic must protect Dominic's niece from a dangerous drug kingpin and find a new employee for Santini Air on NBC Universal’s "AIRWOLF" episode entitled "The Truth About Holly." The contributing writers are Phil Combest and Chester Krumholz. Alan Levi directed the episode.
Hawke with the aid of Dominic and Airwolf successfully retrieve Holly Matthews, Dominic's niece, who was held captive by Ed Aarons, drug kingpin.
Meanwhile, Caitlin O'Shannessy tracks down Hawke, having taken a leave of absence from her job with the Texas Highway Patrol.
She has brought the body of Hawke's friend home for burial.
At the funeral service, Dominic tells Caitlin she can fly a stunt in the movie they are shooting.
The day of the movie shoot, Caitlin prepares to do a dangerous stunt, yet must also interact romantically with Hawke on film, making Holly jealous.
The linkage in the copter goes out during the execution of the stunt, however, Caitlin crash lands safely.
Dominic and Hawke notice Aaron's men around the stunt trailer yet are unable to catch them.
For Holly's safety, Hawke takes her to his cabin for the night.
Holly, however, becomes increasingly romantic and Hawke tries to dissuade her. Just at this point, Aarons calls a meet with Dominic and Hawke.
Learning this, Holly becomes hysterical accusing Caitlin of trying to take Hawke away from her.
She begs Caitlin to take her to Hawke's cabin.
They leave, yet Holly pulls a gun on Caitlin forcing her to fly into a government restricted zone.
Aarons tells Dominic that Holly is mentally ill.
He explains she stole his coded accounting book, tried to kill him, was insanely jealous, and would even send herself death threats.
Dominic and Hawke leave hastily in search of Caitlin and Holly.
The government base has begun firing missiles at Caitlin's copter, yet Airwolf appears deflecting the missiles with their own ammunition.
They successfully escape and Holly is sent to a hospital for care and treatment.
Dominic formally hires Caitlin as a flyer for Santini Air.
