ADVERTISEMENTS
Hawke is involved in a plane crash and awakens to find a year has passed on NBC Universal’s "AIRWOLF" episode entitled "Echoes From The Past." The segment was directed by Harvey Laidman and written by C.R. O'Christopher.

Under heavy sedation, Hawke awakens to discover that he was in a plane crash and has been unconscious for a year. Deeply depressed, he is confronted by his brother, Saint John, supposedly rescued from Vietnam in an operation which cost Dominic's life. Saint John and the doctors convince Hawke to reveal Airwolf's location. With the help of a nurse, Susan, Hawke realizes it was an elaborate scam designed to find Airwolf. He and Susan try to escape -- unsuccessfully. Meanwhile, Archangel and Dominic realize that Hawke's disappearance must be tied-in with Airwolf. The villains almost succeed in stealing Airwolf -- but they underestimate the combined strengths of Dominic and Archangel.
