ADVERTISEMENTS
Stringfellow Hawke goes undercover as an exchange pilot to prevent an old friend's act of treason on NBC Universal's "AIRWOLF," episode entitled "Daddy's Gone A Hunt'n." The episode directed by Virgil Vogel was written by Burton Armus.

Archangel enlists Hawke and Santini to prevent a high-tech plane from being turned over to the Russians -- though the identity of the guilty pilot is not known. Hawke discovers that an old friend, Major Sam Roper, plans to steal the plane while on a reconnaissance mission in return for the young Amerasian son he has never seen. The innocent child has become a pawn of the Russians. A rising complication is that the boy's mother, Nhi Huong, is a former lover of Hawke. Hawke further learns that Roper's plan is to kidnap the boy and double-cross the Russians. Convinced that Roper and the boy will never make it out alive, Hawke formulates a dangerous but successful plan and with the help of Archangel, Dominic and Airwolf prevents the theft of the plane and returns the boy to his parents.
