NEW FEMALE "AIRWOLF" CO-STAR ANNOUNCED: IT'S JEAN BRUCE SCOTT
Scott Starts New Season With Jan-Michael Vincent, Ernie Borgnine & Alex Cord

Jean Bruce Scott is the newest addition to Universal Television's high-flying action series "Airwolf," returning for its second season on CBS, Saturdays at the new time of 8 p.m.
Jean will be introduced as pilot Texas Highway Patrolwoman Caitlin O'Shannessy, it was announced today by Universal, eventually becoming a regular flying member of Ernie Borgnine's Santini Air Service and work throughout the show with series star Jan-Michael Vincent.
Jean, who explains that Bruce is a family surname, a holdover from her Scottish heritage, was most recently seen on NBC's "St. Elsewhere" as Roberta Sloan, married to the show's Victor Ehrlich, a union that show watchers will remember lasted all of a funny and calamitous 16 days.
Last season the beautifully freckled, reddish-haired California native also had a recurring part on "Magnum P.I.," another Don Bellisario ("Airwolf") production, as Navy intelligence officer Lt. Maggie Poole. Prior to this she was a 'regular on NBC's "Days Of Our Lives" for two and a half years as split personality Jessica.
In fact, Jean has super modelling agent Nina Blanchard to thank for the start of her acting career. Following high school Jean quickly became a top teen model in New York but later became disillusioned with the industry and the city, moving back to California and entering Cal State Fullerton college. It was Blanchard who made Jean see the opportunities in TV commercials, and she again rose to the top of her field as the perennial girl next door for such products as Coca Cola, A&W Rootbeer, McDonalds, and Pillsbury.
A former Army "brat," Jean says she's been to each of the 50 states growing up with her father, a retired Army major now living in Alaska with her mother and older sister, a teacher.
